Axiomatic releases a 10A (240 Watt) version of the rugged 24Vdc-24Vdc converter and the 48Vdc-24Vdc converter, part numbers AX080200 and AX080000. Axiomatic high-efficiency power converters are used in mobile, military and oilfield service equipment. All our DC/DC converters are designed for harsh operating environments.
DC-DC converters provide stable DC supply when installed on battery-powered vehicles or generator sets. Battery taps can be avoided and sensitive equipment is protected. Axiomatic DC power converters perform the following functions.
o Power regulation - The DC converter regulates power to sensitive electronics o Isolation - Isolation from battery power is often necessary for critical loads. o Power conditioning - Power from a vehicle battery is conditioned at the same voltage level to protect onboard electronic devices. o Step up or step down power conversion - Voltage is stepped to a higher or lower level to supply the appropriate power to auxiliary devices such as lights, horns and other accessories.
