Aviall to Acquire Aircraft Brake, Wheel Services Provider Sisu Services Inc.


DALLAS, April 13 : Aviall, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA), has reached an agreement to acquire certain assets of Sisu Services Inc., a premier supplier of aircraft brake and wheel services, parts and technical information.

Sisu Services, based in Crown Point, Ind., will operate as an independent business unit of Aviall Product Repair Services beginning April 16, 2007. The acquisition supports Aviall's growth strategy by expanding opportunities for high value services and parts sales.

Sisu Services Inc., founded in 1985, is a key provider of brake and wheel services for hundreds of corporate operators, FBOs, charter services and private aircraft owners. The company has 16 employees and serves customers in 42 states.

The companies are not disclosing terms of the transaction, which will not impact Boeing's financial guidance.
