PHILADELPHIA--Systems integrators and value-added resellers (VARs) of product ID labeling equipment can now find essential software programs and useful product information at a new Avery Dennison Printer Systems Web site. The site's address: www.reseller.printersys.averydennison.com.
The comprehensive Web site features downloadable print drivers for virtually all Avery Dennison Printer Systems product offerings, including the 6400 RFID series and the ALX, AP, TTK and TTX product families. Systems integrators and VARs can also download demo versions of popular software programs such as Label Management System (LMS) software and fully activate these programs with a follow-up phone call.
Also available for downloading are firmware programs that control essential print/apply functions such as dispensing and rewinding for a variety of Avery Dennison Printer Systems products.
"The new site is designed to directly support the business activities of integrators and resellers," says Dan Williams, marketing manager, Avery Dennison Printer Systems. "They can log in from any location, including customer sites, and can quickly download print drivers and other programs when needed for a specific project."
Thermal-Transfer Ribbon Chart
Users access the Web site without a password and without time-consuming log-in or registration procedures. Navigation is accomplished via handy, drop-down menus. In addition to software, the site features a chart with basic data on 500 different thermal-transfer ribbons, including part numbers, ribbon dimensions and rolls per carton.
The site also contains user and service manuals for a variety of Avery Dennison Printer Systems print/apply systems, printers, accessories and software. Users can find manuals for many older labeling systems that are no longer sold but may still be in operation. Also featured are product brochures in downloadable PDF formats.
