Autonomic's ARCWRX Solution is Ready to Fill PaaS Void after DISA STAX Sunset

CARY, N.C. – With the understanding that the Department of Defense (DOD) is sun-setting DISA STAX, which was offering the government OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat, Autonomic Resources has seen many DOD customers seeking a replacement compliant PaaS with the same features. Also built on OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat, Autonomic Resources' ARCWRX currently has a number of civilian and DOD agencies piloting the Platform as a Service offering. ARCWRX is currently in processing for a FedRAMP JAB authorization and will subsequently be reviewed for a DOD Provisional Authorization.

The Secure Technology Application eXecution (STAX), was a development and middleware solution that ran on DISA RACE, and for a short time became DISA's PaaS solution. STAX provided cloud-based development, test, and production environments that included computing, storage, network infrastructure, and middleware.

"We have been successfully piloting several customers in ARCWRX including DOD agencies, one of which is seeking approval to have a .mil domain moved into ARCWRX," stated John Keese, President and CEO of Autonomic Resources. "Getting the word out that we have another trusted cloud service, this time in the form of PaaS, is challenging at times due to the difficulty in reaching inside DOD with cohesive communication."

Autonomic is ready to host DOD agencies looking for a replacement for DISA STAX. Learn more about ARCWRX on their website and request a free evaluation of ARCWRX for your agency.

Furthermore, in October Autonomic is set to begin the required Third Party Assessor review with DISA FSO office oversight for Autonomic's ARC-P™ IaaS conditional P-ATO at Impact Level 5. In April 2013, Autonomic was the first DOD cloud service provider approved under the DOD Impact Levels 1 and 2.
