MDT's AutoSave for System Platform recognized as the endorsed partner-product that most enhances productivity and optimizes Invensys solutions

ALPHARETTA, Georgia - MDT Software, a world leader in change management solutions for automated manufacturing assets, today announced that its AutoSave for System Platform software solution has been named the 2011 Productivity Partner Product of the Year by Invensys Operations Management. The award recognizes the value of AutoSave for System Platform, a product that enhances Invensys Operations Management's open ArchestrA technology software platform with advanced MDT AutoSave change management and version control software.

The Productivity Partner Product of the Year award recognizes products that enhance productivity and optimize Invensys solutions. "This is an important award because our customers are being forced to do more in less time and with fewer resources," said Dan Fitzpatrick, partner program manager, Invensys Operations Management. "We have great confidence that AutoSave for System Platform, with the advanced change management features it provides, will be of great value to our System Platform customers."

AutoSave for System Platform enhances change management at the application object level for graphics, templates and instances of application objects within Invensys Operations Management's ArchestrA System Platform environment. With complete version history of object-level changes, AutoSave for System Platform increases the value of the ArchestrA System Platform software offering by protecting intellectual property in the system design and by providing greater insight into important changes over the life of each application object. Customers also benefit from the ability to roll back undesirable changes to a known state resulting in reduced downtime and system maintenance costs while permitting greater creative experimentation and idea testing during the design phase.

The award was given at Invensys Operations Management's North American OpsManage'11 industry conference in Nashville, Tenn. It was presented to Gary Gillespie, MDT vice president and general manager, by Rashesh Mody, senior vice president, software and advanced applications, Invensys Operations Management.

"We are proud to have created a product with Invensys that increases the value of a customer's investment in ArchestrA System Platform through a fully integrated change-management offering that leverages our 20+ year history in automation version control," said Gillespie.
