Louisville, KY - Atlas Machine & Supply was presented the "Mayor's Healthy Hometown Award" for 2008 at the annual meeting of Greater Louisville, Inc., the metro chamber of commerce, held March 10th at The Kentucky Center. The award, given in the small business category, recognizes outstanding achievement in promoting employee health.
Atlas' wellness program was recognized for its varied features and success in attracting employee participation at its four locations in three states.
Congratulations to the members of the Atlas Wellness Committee who coordinate the program's activities. They are Louisville are: Virginia Jury, Brent Blanc, Doug Felker, Angie Gimmel, Kathy Mays, Keith McDonald, Erika Napier, Daniel Waddell. Representing Cincinnati and Columbus is Lindsay Fields, and Evansville is Jennifer Rogers.
