Company to Integrate Lighthouse Global Technologies' E-Trail Digital Archive Solution with Atempo Archive Server
Palo Alto, Calif., Feb. 12, 2008 - Atempo, Inc., a leading provider of cross-platform data protection and archiving solutions, today announced the acquisition of Lighthouse Global Technologies, Inc., developer of E-Trail Digital Archive, a feature-rich, open architecture e-mail archiving solution. The acquisition will enable Atempo to quickly integrate the e-mail archiving software with Atempo's file archiving technology to deliver a comprehensive digital archiving solution.

Atempo's file archiving software, Atempo Archive Server, was introduced in 2007 to reduce the cost and complexity of long-term protection of critical data assets. With regulatory compliance and e-Discovery requirements driving the need for e-mail retention, the integration between file and e-mail archiving has become critical.

E-Trail Digital Archive is built on top of an open, modular architecture and portable modern technology base, which supports Atempo's technology sharing and integration objectives with Atempo Archive Server and other products. The software supports Windows, Linux, Unix, and Mac OS X operating systems, as well as MS Exchange and Lotus e-mail servers.
