At MWC'13, Allegro DVT Refines AL1200 HEVC Encoder After the Release of HEVC/H.265 Final Draft

GRENOBLE, France- Allegro DVT lights the way to a bright future, for the latest born-to-kill compression standard. HEVC Final Draft International Standard (FDIS) was only promoted as such a month ago, and Allegro DVT already ships a live encoder fully compliant with the standard.
"Having started working on HEVC quite ahead of the standard finalization allows us to propose now, available off-the-shelf, the first and most innovative live HEVC encoder for mobile TV and multiscreen services of 2013-2014. As predicted, we are already seeing HEVC ecosystems emerging, based on software decoders even though HEVC decoding chips are not out there yet.
