Lake Forest, Illinois, February 2009 - Associated Research, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Electrical Safety Compliance Testing Instruments, has announced that they have received accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) to the ISO 17025 standard.
A2LA is the largest accreditation body to the ISO 17025 standard. The ISO 17025 standard is an International Standard published by the International Organization for Standardization. ISO 17025 specifies the general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations. Associated Research, Inc. is now able to offer accredited calibration services. This provides customers the benefit of receiving an accredited calibration certificate that provides measurement traceability as well as measurement uncertainty. The fact that Associated Research has pursued and received accreditation demonstrates their commitment to provide and maintain high quality instrumentation for Electrical Safety Compliance Testing. Associated Research, Inc. now offers three different levels of calibration services. Designed to meet the various needs of their customer base they provide Standard Calibrations, Calibrations with Data, and ISO 17025 Accredited Calibration.
Standard Calibration - Their standard calibration offers customers a quality calibration at an affordable price. Standard calibration will ensure that the instrument meets its published specifications. A calibration certificate is provided. This is an economical calibration for customers not requiring data or accreditation.
Calibration with Data - Their calibration with data offers customers the same quality calibration as the standard calibration. A calibration certificate is also provided along with measurement data reports. This calibration will provide Before (as received) data and After (as returned) data.
ISO 17025 Calibration - Their ISO 17025 calibration offers customers an ISO 17025 Accredited Calibration service. An accredited certificate is provided along with measurement data reports with measurement uncertainty. This calibration meets any customer needs for compliance to ISO 17025.
