OTHENBURG, Sweden, March 29: - Providing Professional Communication to a German Energy Company and a British Retail Chain.
Ascom Wireless Solutions has secured two major contracts worth 5.8 million Euro. The assignments is to supply and install wireless communication systems for a renowned German energy company and a leading retailer in the United Kingdom. The German contract includes three projects with a total value of 3.6 million Euro while the British account is to provide in-store communication systems worth 2.2 million Euro.
The German systems are adapted technically to suit the customer's demands and are integrated in the existing structures. Ascom Wireless Solutions optimises the internal processes at the various sites and, in doing so, permanently increases efficiency.

The British contract covers an extension to an existing deal to refurbish the customers overall internal communication infrastructure across some 300 stores. When completed over 7,000 Ascom DECT 9d24 Messenger Handsets will be in use.
The system provides smart integration with existing hard wired phone systems and enables everyone from senior management to shop floor, stock room and maintenance staff, to have instant voice and text communication, wherever they are in store.
