System Will be Able to Handle 100,000 Users
GOTHENBORG, Sweden, March 3 / / - Ascom continues to improve the IP-DECT system by adding more functionality and making installation and operation much easier. This cost-efficient IP-DECT solution stretches way beyond tomorrow. By supporting the SIP standard and adding support for more RFC:s as well as increasing the number of IP-PBX:es to the interoperability list, Ascom will stay the global leader within DECT.
The IP-DECT system from Ascom combines the VoIP world with the traditional wireless DECT solution in an innovative package. One big advantage is that you can have both packet data and high-quality voice connections on the same network and look forward to superb quality of service and excellent messaging capabilities in a secure radio environment.
"During 2008 the Ascom IP-DECT system will add value and demonstrate its strength by making "smooth migration to VoIP even smoother" i.e. support for analogue connections towards analogue PBX:es, and most of all giving global companies the possibility to use their DECT handsets all over the world.
