Chester, Connecticut, USA - Ascentech announces the sale of a MUST III Solderability Test System to Molex Corp., a leading global one-source supplier of interconnect products headquartered in the Chicago area. Ascentech is the North American Distributor of the MUST III system.
"Solderability testing is a key component of our quality and reliability program here at MOLEX" Don Fowler, Reliability Engineer, said. "The MUST system provides all of the testing and archiving capabilities that we need to satisfy our internal needs as well as meeting the tough standards required by our customers."
The MUST III System is a wetting balance testing system capable of testing to all relevant solder standards including ICE, MIL-STD, IPO/EYE/JADE, etc. The MUST System 3 measures the solderability of a printed circuit board and/or component's metallic terminations by documenting the wetting curve of the unit under test. The MUST System 3 is appropriate for testing all devices including multi-leaded components as well as SMT and BGA devices.
Ascentech provides MUST systems calibration and service, and is equipped to calibrate and certify high-accuracy temperature components. Ascentech is also equipped to calibrate and certify MUST's high-precision Force Measurement System, and provide a Certificate of Calibration.
