SANTA CLARA, Calif.--April 25, 2006--Arkeia Software, the leading provider of powerful, innovative data protection software for networked storage, announced today at the annual MySQL User Conference in Santa Clara that its MySQL hot backup module is fully compatible with the recently released MySQL 5.0 open-source database.
The widely used Arkeia Software hot backup module for MySQL allows users to develop a flexible backup strategy that protects data without interruption. Utilizing Arkeia's convenient GUI navigator, the module performs incremental, differential or full MySQL backup while data is online, live and accessible.
