USA

Press release date: September 11, 2012

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Arizona Chemical, a world leader of bio-refined products, announced it has entered into an exclusive agreement with Nexeo Solutions to distribute its SYLFAT(TM) tall oil fatty acid (TOFA) and SYLVATAL(TM) distilled tall oil (DTO) in the U.S. This agreement takes effect November 1, 2012.

SYLFAT(TM) is a tall oil fatty acid (TOFA) that is used in a wide range of applications including alkyd resins, dimer acids, surfactants, cleaners, oil field chemicals, lubricant esters and other chemical derivatives.

SYLVATAL(TM) products are distilled tall oils (DTO). They combine the advantages of fatty and rosin acids, and are therefore an ideal raw material for functional products like metal working fluids, oil field chemicals, soaps, cleaners and alkyd resins.

"We're excited about this new distribution arrangement with Nexeo Solutions," said Kees Verhaar, President and CEO for Arizona Chemical. "Their vast expertise in logistics and extensive distribution network, coupled with their market knowledge, will be a benefit to our customers across the U.S."

"Nexeo Solutions is proud to be Arizona Chemical's chosen partner. Since our inception seventeen months ago, we have invested significantly to expand our unique business model. We are excited that companies like Arizona Chemical have seen the progress and are taking advantage of our commitment to be a value added channel to market," said David Bradley, CEO of Nexeo Solutions.
