Aquatech Awarded a Contract in California for Zero Liquid Discharge


CANONSBURG, October 2008, Aquatech International Corporation, a leader in the field of water and waste water treatment, desalination, water reuse, and zero liquid discharge, has recently received an order from Gemma Power Systems for the Colusa Power Station in Maxwell, California.

Aquatech will design, manufacture and supply Potable Ultrafiltration, Wastewater Ultrafiltration, Reverse Osmosis and a waste water Forced Circulation Crystallizer. This equipment will receive surface water canal feed to generate 300 gpm treated process water and treat 500 gpm generated waste water to achieve zero liquid discharge.

The equipment is scheduled to be delivered in fall of 2009.

This 640 MW combined cycle power plant is owned by Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).
