MILPITAS, Calif., Sept. 17 / / -- Appro (http://www.appro.com/), a leading provider of high-performance enterprise computing systems, announces the launch of its new general purpose Appro 1U XtremeServer(TM) 1512H designed for small business and low-cost high performance computing users who want to maximize their business productivity and protect their technology investment.
The new 1U XtremeServer 1512H offers one Dual- or Quad-Core AMD Opteron 2000 Series processor, 1.5TB hot-swap SATA HDDs and one PCI-Express x16 slot supporting 32GB of memory. The server combines quality with either the industry-leading dual-core processing capability of the Second-Generation AMD Opteron processor, or the industry-defining native Quad-Core AMD Opteron processor.
