Consolidation decreases cost; simplifies product offering for converging carriers
DUBLIN, Ohio, Dec. 20 -- Applied Innovation Inc. (NASDAQ:AINN) today announced that it will consolidate two products to create a single remote site management offering for wireless, wireline and converging carriers.
Effective immediately, the products formerly known as AIbadgerXT and AIremote will be developed and marketed under a single product line: AIremote.
Both products are built on the same NEBS certified hardware and utilize the same Linux-based operating system allowing Applied Innovation to focus more closely on developing unique customer product features that meet demands of evolving telecommunications providers.

The AIremote offers remote monitoring and management of a diverse range of critical and peripheral equipment typically found in cell sites, Controlled Environment Vaults (CEVs) and FTTx locations from a cost effective single rack unit device.
