SMT equipment and process specialist Apex Factory Automation will be highlighting their newest SMT placement systems for high-mix, high speed applications. Mirae, the long established Korean manufacturer, produces the linear motor based systems. Their features and capabilities will be demonstrated live at booth #1117.
The Mx400 series feature advanced linear motor technology providing speed and placement accuracy of 25µ (3ó). These flexible SMT assemblers are capable of placing 01005's (0402 metric) through 3.5" X 1.18" (90mm X 30mm) large SMT devices using advanced optics and inspection systems.
Mx400 Placement Systems are available in six SMT assembly configurations offering dual-lane conveyor options, large-board capability, increased feeder capacity and several different gantry and pick/place head configurations for optimal part placement flexibility. All versions of the Mx400 series machines are built on a robust frame, employ two precision controlled overhead gantry systems, intuitive software, and offer placement rates from 30,000 CPH through 42,000 CPH FA.
