RED BANK, NJ (November 30, 2007) - Ansell recently appointed Sean Sweeney as Senior Market Development Manager focusing on the construction, DIY and other alternate markets. Sean will be based out of Ansell's headquarters in Red Bank, N.J.
"Sean brings a strong background and a wealth of experience to Ansell that will help us better reach customers in these important growing consumer and industrial markets," said Tom Draskovics, Ansell Director of Marketing for North America.
Prior to joining Ansell, Sweeney held numerous sales and marketing positions within The Black & Decker/DeWalt Corporation. Most recently, Sean was the Senior Product Manager and Global Business Team Leader responsible for all product development, marketing and sales strategies for DeWalt's Metal Drilling, Screwdriving, Quick Change & Worksite Storage businesses. He is a graduate of Rutgers College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J.
