Anacomp Completes Acquisition of CaseLogistix

SAN DIEGO, May 30: Anacomp Inc. , a leader in document and business process management solutions, today announced it has completed the acquisition of CaseLogistix Inc., a leading provider of evidence and litigation management solutions. CaseLogistix market leading solutions allow legal teams to quickly collect, review and produce any amount and type of discovery information.

Evidence and litigation management solutions have become increasingly necessary as law firms and corporate legal departments, bound by a more stringent regulatory environment, struggle to cost effectively process rapidly growing volumes of discovery information in a timely manner. Forrester Research predicts hosted litigation review applications will reach $2.9 billion by 2011 from $527 million in 2007.(1) Anacomp calculates this as a 54% compound annual growth rate, which represents a significant opportunity in the market.

CaseLogistix, when combined with Anacomp's docHarbor hosted repository services, enterprise capture solutions and secure scanning and conversion data centers located across the U.S. and Europe, will provide law firms and corporate legal departments with access to one of the broadest litigation support platforms in the industry and a vendor that can truly provide single source accountability.

"This is the latest in a series of strategic actions to extend our core competencies in document and business process management, enterprise capture, conversion and archiving to create significant value in a new market segment," said Howard Dratler, Anacomp's Chief Executive Officer.

"We believe this acquisition, when combined with our existing capabilities and leveraging our 40 year history of handling sensitive customer information will provide the legal market exactly what it has been asking for -- a trusted supplier that can provide the full range of litigation support services," Dratler continued.

Anacomp will operate CaseLogistix as part of its docHarbor division. Roe Frazer, former CaseLogistix CEO, will continue to lead the CaseLogistix business, reporting directly to Dratler.

To ensure Anacomp's worldwide customers receive the greatest possible value from this acquisition, John Turner has been promoted to SVP of Development and Chief Technology Officer for Anacomp. Turner will oversee the integration of CaseLogistix solutions as well as the development of Anacomp's docHarbor product strategy.
