Amtech Announces $10M in Solar Orders from Solar Technology Leaders; Obtains Second PECVD Production Order


TEMPE, Ariz. – Amtech Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASYS), a global supplier of production and automation systems and related supplies for the manufacture of solar cells, semiconductors, and sapphire and silicon wafers, today announced it has received approximately $10 million in new solar orders, including orders for its diffusion and PECVD systems from respected solar technology leaders in Korea and Taiwan. The orders are expected to ship within the next six months.
