Amptronix, Inc. debuts its extensive line of Security Solutions featuring its top-of-the-line Biometric products for security professionals. The product line includes the Optical Fingerprint Series, the most reliable and cost-effective biometric modules that were designed to meet the security requirements of custom applications for a wide range of industries.
Our Standalone Optical Sensor guarantees reliable image capturing for a vast array of finger types that include, dry, moist, and those with fine ridges. This ensures more stable solutions and a higher level of security without sacrificing the convenience of short verification times. The Optical Sensor is also a low power solution that makes it ideal for portable devices such as: USB devices, notebook PC's, door locks, and POS applications where cost, size, and power consumption are main concerns. Amptronix, Inc. utilizes this module in our own CMOS Optical Fingerprint Reader and Mouse products for data encryption, log-in protection, and access control applications. The addition of Software Development Kits (SDK) allows the simplification of integration for the Standalone Optical Sensor and Chip Sensor into custom applications in various environments. Our sensors offer a wide range of support and expansion with communication interfaces including RS 232, RS 485 and GPIO. This further allows Non-IA and Non-IT products to easily incorporate biometric functions by using command ports. Optional features also include RTC/Wiegand, Bluetooth Communication, FRID and EM Card Solutions.
