Press release date: April 10, 2008

SAN JOSE, CA, April 10, 2008 - Ampro Computers Inc., a leading supplier of board-level embedded computers, announced today that it has been promoted by Microsoft to Silver Level status in the Windows Embedded Partner Program (WEPP). The recognition acknowledges Ampro's strong commitment to Windows Embedded CE and Windows XP Embedded support across its extensive line of single-board computer, computer-on-module, and system-level products.

"Windows Embedded CE and Windows XP Embedded continue to be among the top OSes for embedded system and device designs among our highly diverse OEM customer base," said Ampro Chief Technology Officer Rick Lehrbaum. "That's why Ampro has historically supported all of our single-board computer, computer-on-module, and system-level products with production quality board support packages (BSPs) for both Windows Embedded CE and Windows XP Embedded."

"Windows Embedded CE and Windows XP Embedded reduce development costs and speed time-to-revenue for OEMs creating standards-based embedded systems -- characteristics that are highly synergistic with Ampro's off-the-shelf stackable SBCs and COMs," Lehrbaum added.

"We are very pleased with our relationship with Ampro and are excited to award them Silver-Level partner status in the Windows Embedded Partner Program," said Jeff Felbeck, Senior Partner Marketing Manager with Windows Embedded at Microsoft Corp. "Microsoft is deeply committed to the success of our partners by empowering them with the tools to enable new scenarios and enter new markets with smart, connected, service-oriented devices."

In related news, Ampro announced plans to integrate Microsoft's Windows Embedded CE and Windows XP Embedded evaluation kits into the Quick Start Kits (QSKs) for all of its single-board computer, computer-on-module, and system-level products within 30-45 days. The addition of these valuable development tools will enhance the value of Ampro's QSKs by further simplifying OEM design efforts.
