Amadeus Announces the Appointment of François Gilbert to its Board of Directors

Quebec City, May 11th, 2007 - Amadeus International Inc., a pioneer and leader of advanced compliance process control solutions, announced today the appointment of Mr. François Gilbert to its Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
François Gilbert has pursued an impressive career path, with extensive and diversified experience in the private, social and cooperative sectors. Since September 2005, he is President of FIER Succès s.e.c., a venture capital fund located in Quebec. Mr. Gilbert also serves as administrator of several corporations, namely Roctest ltd, a public corporation , Dynagram, Inc., and Optosécurité, Inc. He was President of the Board of Directors of Kaydara, Inc. until it was sold in September 2004, and of Medicago, Inc.
For nine years, François Gilbert was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Gestion Charles Sirois, a private investment holding, where he was notably responsible for managing investment portfolios for private firms stemming from various industry sectors.
Moreover, Mr. Gilbert was quite active in the Quebec cooperative movement for nearly 15 years. From 1985 to 1990, he was President of the Fédération des caisses populaires Desjardins du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, President of the Committee on Insurance and Retirement Programs at Desjardins, and Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Confédération des caisses populaires et d'économie Desjardins du Québec. His social involvement is also noteworthy; he was co-founder of the Centraide fundraising campaign for the Quebec region, Chairman of the Board of the Laval University faculty of Business Administration, co‑founder of Centraide Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, President of the Fondation communautaire du grand Québec, as well as Vice President of the Fondation de l'entrepreneurship.

Mr. Gilbert replaces Mr. Pierre-François Isabel, who has resigned so as to give preference to an external member. However, Mr. Isabel will still act as observer, thus assisting members of the Board with his thorough knowledge of the eQCM® product and of the markets targeted by the Company. As for Mr. Gilbert's role in the Audit Committee, he will act in replacement of Mr. Yves Leblanc, President and CEO of Amadeus, who resigned from the Committee to leave his seat to an external member as well.
Granting of Stock Options
Furthermore, Amadeus announced today that, under the Company's stock option plan, the last meeting of the Board of Directors passed a resolution regarding the granting of 1,516,000 stock options to Company Directors, Executives, employees and consultants, of which 350,000 were granted to Directors, and 600,000 to Company Executives. This option grant, which represents 7.04% of all issued and outstanding shares of the capital stock of the Company, adds to the 68,207 options already issued and outstanding, totaling 1,584,207 options, which represents 7.36% of the number of issued and outstanding shares. The aggregate exercise price of the newly granted stock options is $0.25, and the option exercise period ends May 6th, 2012.
