"A diverse decision-making body representing all aspects of membership is critical to the success of the Aluminum Association," said Aluminum Association President Heidi Brock. The Aluminum Association is working to continually advance and promote aluminum as the sustainable material of choice in the modern world. New applications for the metal in transportation, building and construction and other markets are driving demand for aluminum in North America. Between 2009 and today, aluminum demand has risen 27 percent and is reaching pre-recession levels. Additionally, the industry has proactively taken steps in recent years to reduce its own carbon footprint by cutting North American perfluorocarbon (PFC) emissions by 85%.

Scotwood Industries, based in Overland Park, KS, produces salt flux sold to aluminum companies.  Headquartered in Weedsport, NY, Page Transportation provides key material transportation services to the aluminum industry.  Alloy Technology Innovations, a Lexington, KY-based company, produces aluminum alloys and develops products for aerospace and defense applications.
