Altair Selected by u-blox to Power Single-Mode LTE Wireless Modules


u-blox modules to fuel connected consumer device and Machine to Machine growth



HOD HA'SHARON, Israel – Altair Semiconductor (http://www.altair-semi.com), the world's leading developer of high performance single mode LTE chipsets, today announced that its FourGee-3100/6202 chipset has been selected by u-blox to power its single mode 4G (LTE) wireless modules, the TOBY-L100 series.



Increasing numbers of consumers and businesses are relying on LTE technology to implement the "Internet of Everything" which requires high-performance and cost-efficient LTE modules such as those being developed by u-blox and Altair.

u-blox modules based on Altair technology are expected to release commercially before the end of 2013.
