Alpha Packaging adds PET Condiment Bottles to its Online Sample Ordering System

In December 2010, Alpha Packaging acquired Progressive Plastics in Cleveland, Ohio. Progressive's product lines are very complementary to the plastic bottles and jars Alpha already manufactured, and its stock lines enable Alpha to serve several new markets. For example, Alpha now offers more styles of food packaging, including condiment bottles, which it has recently added to its online sample ordering system at www.alphap.com.

To make it easy for customers to get samples of three of Alpha's most popular stock condiment bottles, Alpha has created a Condiment Bottle Sample Pack that you can order with one click of the mouse. The Condiment Bottle Sample Pack includes a 9oz. Aspen Oblong, a 9oz. Clark Oblong, and a 12oz Clark Oblong. All three bottles feature a 38-400 neck finish, and are made from a 23.8-gram preform.

All three bottles were designed for condiments, marinades, sauces, and other liquid foods such as honey and jelly; they would also be ideal for liquid soaps, hand sanitizers, laundry products and personal care products such as hair gels and aloe.

In addition to these three PET Condiment Bottles, Alpha has added about a dozen more PET items to its website, all of which are made in the Cleveland manufacturing facility. Most of the new items are 2-stage (reheat and blow) PET bottles, and Alpha has dramatically reduced the minimum order volumes to make it easier for customers to meet minimum order requirements. For example, the Aspen Oblong and Clark Oblongs each have a 4-pallet minimum order for clear bottles; custom-colored 2-stage bottles require a 50,000-piece minimum. If you are interested in custom colors, Alpha can provide custom-colored preforms in a variety of colors and opacity levels.
