Alliance Rubber Company Launches Promotion in Conjunction with Made In USA Certified for a Free Trip for Four to the 4th of July Fireworks in Washington D.C.
November 22, 2011 - Alliance Rubber Company, the iconic U.S. manufacturer of rubber bands, today announced a new promotion, in collaboration with Made in USA Certified, in support of their "We Can Make It in America" campaign. Beginning in January 2012, Alliance will introduce its newly designed packaging with on-pack QR (Quick Response) codes that direct consumers to a specially designed mobile website where they can pledge to help create a million American jobs by spending $1.00 a day on American made products.
Consumers who have a camera equipped smart phones with internet access can simply scan the image of the QR code on pack to open the promotional web page where they can submit contact information and register for an opportunity to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip for four to the 4th of July fireworks show in Washington DC. This trip includes airfare, hotel accommodations, and transportation to the Smithsonian Museum.
Washington D.C. is a spectacular place to celebrate the 4th of July. The National Mall, with Washington DC's monuments and the U.S. Capitol in the background, forms a beautiful and patriotic backdrop to America's Independence Day celebrations. This is an all-day event in the nation's capital, beginning with a parade along Constitution Avenue and ending with a spectacular display of fireworks over the Washington Monument.
The new packaging design marks Alliance's latest efforts in their quest to reinforce Alliance's role as a true American manufacturer.
