15 February 2008 - Aker Kvaerner's Subsea business area has appointed Dave Hutchinson, 40, as its senior vice president for Aftermarket operations.
Hutchinson, currently based in Singapore, has more than 20 years' experience in drilling, offshore operations, oilfield services, fabrication, manufacturing and management. He joins from the position of vice president Surface Products & Services, a business unit within Aker Kvaerner Subsea. He has led this 400-strong global operation for the past two-and-a-half years. Prior to this Hutchinson was general manager for Aker Kvaerner Subsea in Nigeria.
In his new role as head of Aftermarket, Hutchinson will be based at Aker Kvaerner Headquarters, Oslo, Norway. He will be part of the Subsea business area global management team and report to Raymond Carlsen, executive vice president, Aker Kvaerner Subsea.
Hutchinson starts in his new role on 1 March 2008.
