Charter Automotive, headquartered in Milwaukee, is a world class provider of engineered components and assemblies specializing in engine, transmission and driveline applications. Engineering for Charter, contacted the AirLoc Midwest Regional Manager to help with a small Bliss press which was transmitting a noticeable floor disturbance during normal punching operations. AirLoc worked closely with the customer to analyze the problem and recommended two layers of 725 damping pad to place under the existing press leveling feet (see photo below). The results were dramatic and Charter Automotive reports that the AirLoc pads make a "BIG DIFFERENCE" in the shock transmitted through the feet into the floor.
