LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. - Air Products (NYSE: APD) will showcase its range of MAXX(TM) shielding gases - designed for improved welding safety, quality and productivity - as well as the company's assist gases for high-performance laser cutting at this year's FABTECH show in Las Vegas, Nev., from November 12-14.
Included in the Air Products range of Maxx shielding gases are Ferromaxx(TM) gases for faster, cleaner welding of carbon steel; Inomaxx(TM) gases, which provide maximum performance for welding stainless steel; and Alumaxx(TM) gas, a multi-purpose shielding gas specifically designed for high-quality welding of aluminum and its alloys. In addition, Air Products provides assist gases for high-performance laser cutting in a full range of supply systems that can meet specific pressure and flow requirements.
Air Products provides gases for welding and cutting in traditional bulk supply, as well as its CryoEase® Microbulk Solution, a cost-effective alternative to cylinder supply. Microbulk supply eliminates the need to reorder cylinders or packs, as well as cylinder handling and changeover. With CryoEase Microbulk Solution, gas is always on-tap, gas purity is more consistent, and shielding gas mixtures can be produced on-site.
