Press release date: June 5, 2012

SANTA CLARA, Calif.- Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) will demonstrate the recently introduced Agilent 1000B oscilloscopes at the ASEE Annual Conference and Exposition, June 10-13, at the San Antonio Convention Center (Booth 413), in San Antonio.

"The Agilent 1000B oscilloscopes are ideally suited for educational institutions that have limited budgets but want to provide their students with a learning experience on world-class test equipment," said Doru Popescu, U.S. marketing segment manager, Agilent's Electronic Measurement Group. "We are delivering advanced scope features starting at a very attractive entry price of just $790."

The 1000B Series oscilloscopes offer features not normally found on oscilloscopes in this category:

· Powerful signal capture and display, including a sharp color LCD display and up to 16 kpts of memory per channel.
· Advanced measurement capabilities, such as the means to produce 23 automatic measurements, including those made with a built-in frequency counter.
· Accelerated productivity with a free educator kit that helps teachers and professors teach essential oscilloscope skills.

In addition, Agilent will demonstrate the latest university teaching solutions, which include an integrated curriculum, complete with the latest test and measurement equipment, instructor's guide, training kits and lab worksheets.

Agilent's booth will feature an integrated solution for the design, validation and test stages of RF components, circuits and systems. This solution gives students tools that integrate processes seamlessly, helping them maximize their practical learning time.

Agilent's B2900A source/measure units, an ideal product for any educator's materials lab, will be shown. The B2900A features wide voltage/current ranges and superior performance at modest prices as well as an intuitive graphical interface with the industry's first color display.

Newark, an Agilent distribution partner, will show a broad set of low-cost Agilent instruments for engineering lab environments, including function generators, power supplies, RF analyzers, oscilloscopes and the Agilent U1230 Series handheld DMMs.

An Agilent InfiniiVision 2000 X-Series oscilloscope and an Agilent handheld DMM will be raffled off during the conference in Booth 413.
