What: Agilent is offering a free wireless pocket router with the purchase of 34972A data acquisition unit. This allows the 34972A to operate with WLAN capability. U.S. and Canadian customers can register to receive a TRENDnet TEW-654TR and two WLAN measurement briefs describing how to set up and control instruments with WLAN. The two measurement briefs: "Access Your 34972A Wirelessly with a TRENDnet Travel Router" and "Increase Data Acquisition Flexibility Using Wireless LAN" are available on the promotional site.
In addition, a free mobile app for the 34972A DAQ is available on iTunes for use on either an iPad/iPhone. The app allows the user to set up the 34972A and measure and monitor their 34901A and 34902A giving worldwide control of the instrument using a wireless LAN or cellular network..
