Lab Selects Agilent's PXT Test Set to Cover LTE and VoLTE
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that Hermon Labs has expanded its acoustic testing for GSM, CDMA, W-CDMA and 3GPP to include the latest acoustical testing for LTE and Voice over LTE using Agilent's E6621A PXT wireless communications test set. Hermon Labs offers global compliance test solutions that include EMC, radio, product safety, environment and telecom. Hermon Labs now supports Agilent's E6621A as a base-station emulator, while its TCA4100 and TCA8200 software controls and measures the tests according to the TS 36.523, TS 26.131 and ETSI 126.131 acoustical standards.
The tests are performed over an IMS gateway in IPV6 and IPV4 modes to verify all of the relevant AMR-WB codecs. All acoustic conformance tests are controlled from one turnkey solution with results formatted and exported into a convenient Microsoft Word® document. The combined test solution has been validated to comply with the TS standards, ensuring a high level of reliability and quality for acoustic conformance testing.
