Affiliated Distributors Strengthens Senior Management Team

Wayne Pa. - September 15th, 2010 - Affiliated Distributors (A-D), North America's largest independent distribution network is proud to announce the following organizational changes at the senior management level.
Bob Howland joined Affiliated Distributors in 2010. He has been hired into the newly created position of Senior Vice-President of Marketing. Bob is responsible for developing strategies, programs and tools to accelerate A-D's growth. Bob brings a strong marketing and sales track record in helping retailers, brands and manufacturers succeed from GSI Commerce. His prior work includes senior marketing and strategy roles at The Vanguard Group, Johnson & Johnson, and General Electric. Bob received a BA in Economics from Vassar College and holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
Paul Ryan joined Affiliated Distributors in September of 2003 and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in September 2010. Previously, Mr. Ryan held the roles of Vice President of Finance and Controller. Mr. Ryan manages A-D's finance, accounting and treasury functions. He brings over 20 years of experience serving the distribution industry, both in accounting and audit roles, including 8 years at VWR International. Prior to joining VWR, Mr. Ryan spent 10 years as a CPA with Ernst & Young, LLP. Mr. Ryan is a graduate of Penn State University with a BS in Accounting.
Scott Renninger joined A-D in 1997 and has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Investment Officer. In this role, Mr. Renninger prudently manages investments to protect principal and provides a consistent return to our members. Mr. Renninger previously served as A-D's Treasurer & Chief Financial Officer. Prior to A-D, Mr. Renninger was a Director of Finance and Operations for Public Financial Management (PFM), the largest financial consulting and investment management firm serving state and local governments nationwide. Prior to PFM, Mr. Renninger spent thirteen years in the distribution industry and was VP of Finance for Gelber Industries. Mr. Renninger received a BS in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Delaware and holds an MBA with concentrations in Strategic Planning and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
