Aeronautical Expert Participates in NSTC Panel


Engineering Systems Inc. (ESI) is pleased to announce that Bob Winn, Ph.D., Principal Engineer,
participated in a panel last week in Washington, D.C. addressing the development of the National
Aeronautics R & D Plan. The panel, run by the Aeronautics Science and Technology
Subcommittee (ASTS) of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), is part of the
Executive Office of the President.

Following this public meeting, individuals in academia and industry, as well as aeronautical experts
were invited to submit papers to provide additional input into the development of the R & D Plan
and related Infrastructure Plan.

Dr. Winn has been a consulting engineer since he retired from the U.S. Air Force after a 22-year
career. He joined ESI in 1994 and in 2002, took over as Director of Colorado Operations for their
Colorado Springs office. Dr. Winn has published over 60 technical papers, technical reports and
articles and has given numerous presentations on a wide variety of technical, educational, and total
