PLACENTIA, CA, September 03, 2008 - Southern California tank manufacturers Advanced Pacific Tank and Superior Storage Tanks, announce that they have merged under new ownership.
Rob Henderson acquired Advanced Pacific Tank Mfg., Inc. last March through a bulk asset sale. Ken Keesee, the company's founder, continues to serve an active role in customer service on a part time basis. In July, Henderson also purchased Superior Storage Tank. The two companies are now fully consolidated under the name, Advanced Pacific Tank.
By combining the two entities, Advanced Pacific Tank now offers customers over 100 years of experience in manufacturing UL-approved steel tanks for petroleum and chemical storage. Single and double-wall tanks in stock sizes ranging from 75 to less than 1,000 gallons will carry the Superior brand, while tanks of 1000 gallons and over, all cylindrical tanks, and custom-sized tanks will bear the AdPac brand.

Advanced Pacific Tank has streamlined operations by moving Superior Tank to its Placentia location. In addition to a renovated warehouse and upgraded computer systems, Advanced Pacific Tank has revamped its manufacturing process with innovative quality management principles and advanced technology. Located in Orange County, California, Advanced Pacific Tank's state-of-the-art facility uses the most modern MIG and robotic welding technology to produce products in both cold-rolled mild steel and stainless steel.
