Press release date: April 17, 2008

(April 17th, 2008 - Rosemont, Illinois) - Advance was presented with Grainger's prestigious Partners in Performance Award for 2007 at Grainger's annual supplier conference held March 18th, 2008 in Schaumburg, Ill. Grainger, a leading broad line supplier of facilities maintenance products serving businesses and institutions throughout North America, presents the award annually to a select group of suppliers for outstanding performance throughout the year.

Grainger's Partners in Performance Award recognizes suppliers who achieve excellence in several categories, including responsiveness, information integrity, cost control, on time shipping, active collaboration, and order fulfillment. Grainger suppliers receive ratings throughout the year for their performance in each of these categories. Approximately 2 percent of Grainger's 1,200 suppliers receive this award each year.

Said Advance Vice President of Sales Ray Hurt, "on behalf of the many talented Advance associates who support the Grainger account, we are honored to receive this prestigious award and to continually rise to meet the challenges of Grainger's dynamic business."

"Grainger is proud to present Advance with the 2007 Partners in Performance Award," said D.G. Macpherson, Grainger's Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Management. Grainger is keenly focused on improving cycle times to help ensure customers have access to the supplies they need to maintain their facilities.
