Adept Technology Demonstrates Expanded Siemens PLC Solutions at AUTOMATICA Show in Munich

Adept Technology, a leading provider of intelligent robots and autonomous mobile solutions, announced that it will be showcasing its Adept ePLC Connect solutions this week in Hall B2, Stand 311 at the AUTOMATICA show in Munich, Germany at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. The company has expanded the ePLC Connect solution to make it compatible with Siemen's SIMATIC S7-300 series controllers.
The ePLC Connect software allows the users to program a robot completely from a Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 through Ethernet IP. This plug-and-play software connects to the existing Siemens PLC, eliminating the need for any additional hardware. A wide variety of applications can be deployed rapidly in compliance with FDA Title 21 CFR Part-11 regulations using the customer's existing knowledge and equipment, which helps reduce the cost of robot programming.

The ePLC Connect server connects seamlessly with the customer's Allen-Bradley or Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 series PLC control architecture.
This product enhancement is part of Adept's initiative to expand the benefits of robotics to a greater number of users as well as continually work to make robot integration simpler. Customers new to robotics can easily install, operate, and support high-performance robots without learning a new programming language outside of their current PLC knowledge and experience.
