Industry Veteran Brings Over 20 Years of Flexible Automation Expertise to Position
Pleasanton, Calif. - September 16, 2009 - Adept Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADEP), a leading provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, today announced that it has appointed Rush LaSelle as its new director of global sales & marketing. Mr. LaSelle brings over 20 years for experience in flexible automation with him to his new position. Mr. LaSelle will be responsible for the company's global sales and marketing initiatives.

Rush LaSelle has over 20 years of experience with advanced robotics and automation systems. He has worked extensively to expand the reach of robotics into markets and industries traditionally underserved by flexible automation technology. Prior to joining Adept Technology, he served as a General Manager for FANUC Robotics America, Inc. Mr. LaSelle holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
