Press release date: September 11, 2008

Adchem Corporation, ISO 9001-2000 certified engineers and manufacturers of adhesive tapes, has six transfer tapes, two rubber based and four acrylic based that are routine manufactured on 12-pt board for their network of converters. These transfer tapes vary in caliper from 2 to 5 mils and cover a variety of bonding applications. Many meet automotive specifications.

12-pt board liners alleviate many processing issues including the difficulty of kiss-cutting parts on light weight paper liners. The stiffness of the liner facilitates the removal off small parts and the strength of the board liner enables larger parts to be removed without it tearing. Offering transfer tapes on a board liner saves processing costs for converters who have been removing a paper liner and then laminating a board liner in order to produce parts for their customers.

Transfer adhesives on board liners include both rubber-based products: 6403-12pt and 6405-12pt and acrylic-based products: 7332-12pt, 7335-12pt, 7511-12pt and 7854-12pt.

About Adchem Corporation Adchem, an ISO 9001 certified and A2LA accredited company, manufactures an innovative line of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape systems, including double-coated papers, films, tissues, foams and fabrics; transfer tapes; one-side coated products and other custom-coated specialty products. Our 100% solids adhesives, solvent and water based acrylics and rubber adhesives are used in a variety of industries, including automotive, construction, electronics, graphic arts, medical and general industrial tape applications.
