Adaptxt Product Team Developing Keyboard App for iPhone and iPad

SAN JOSE, Calif.,  -- KeyPoint Technologies, an award-winning world leader in intelligent user interface technology, is pleased to announce its Adaptxt smart keyboard app will be coming to iOS in fall. With the unveiling of iOS 8 and Apple opening its doors to third party keyboard apps, KeyPoint readied its internal team in anticipation for this tectonic shift in the marketplace and the opportunity to now enhance mobile communication across iOS devices.

"We applaud Apple on iOS 8 and its decision to open up to third parties for an enriched experience. We have been working for some time on an iOS keyboard app. We are excited that Apple's iOS 8 will support keyboards like ours in the fall when it debuts," said Sumit Goswami, CEO at KeyPoint Technologies. "We have been putting a lot into development to fine tune our context-aware typing that identifies the location of the user and what application they are running to provide more accurate and contextual word predictions. We also plan to soon unveil specialized dictionaries for legal, health, finances and other professionals that give our next-word prediction even that much more accuracy. Ultimately, we are aiming for effortless communication for iOS users."

The Adaptxt specialized dictionaries for iOS will deliver an unparalleled mobile typing experience, seamlessly predicting words and phrases applicable to various professional industries. These dictionaries are paramount to an effective keyboard app as professionals adopt the mobile first trend, beginning their work at home or an office and continuing to type while on the go using a tablet or smartphone.

Adaptxt is the only keyboard to offer over 100 languages and 30 specialized dictionaries, complementing its global presence and end goal to make messaging more efficient, personalized and productive on any mobile device.

In addition, KeyPoint Technologies' Adaptxt smart keyboard was named the 2014 Horizon Interactive Awards Silver Winner for best productivity app and 2014 Appy Award Winner for the same category, solidifying its place in the upper echelon of the app marketplace.
