Embeds Freeway Translation Connection into WCMS, Closely Linking Content with Translation Capabilities
BOSTON, Nov. 28 -- Gilbane Content Management Conference -- Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:LIOX) today announced that Acumium, an e-business strategic consulting and custom software development firm, has joined Lionbridge's newly launched Content Management System (CMS) Alliance Program. Acumium has integrated Freeway(TM), Lionbridge's language management platform, into its WCMS to enable the rapid and cost effective globalization of projects.
Acumium helps organizations shape their complex business ideas in simple, effective software solutions. Acumium's WCMS enables companies to make changes to their Web site quickly and easily without using a complex programming language or spending money to outsource the changes. Linking WCMS with Freeway will allow content managers to initiate and track global content management projects in a single system that does not require additional software purchases and configuration, or the creation of new globalization workflows.
