CEO Attributes Company's Steady Growth to Passionate, Dedicated Employees
Bothell, Wash., August 21, 2007 - Aculight Corporation, a leading developer of innovative laser technologies, has been named to Washington CEO magazine's "Top 50 High Tech Firms in Washington" list for 2007. Aculight ranked number 32, up from 34 in 2006.
"Aculight's position on the 'Top 50 High Tech Firms in Washington' list is a great validation of the plan we have been following to grow the company," said Aculight President and CEO Don Rich. The Washington CEO list is a ranking of the 50 largest high tech companies in Washington State. To be considered, companies must devote at least 10 percent of their annual budget to technology-based research and development. The list is then ranked from largest to smallest by number of employees in Washington. Aculight currently employs 93 people, up from around 76 in 2006.
