Act Now: Several Seats Still Available for This Week's Certificate Issuers' Accreditation Workshop



There's still time to register for the upcoming Certificate Issuers' Accreditation Workshop, to be held by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) on April 29-30, in Washington, DC.

This two-day workshop will introduce the American National Standard ASTM E2659-09, Standard Practice for Certificate Programs, and the Institute's Certificate Accreditation Program (ANSI-CAP). Attendees will learn about the requirements for developing a quality education/training course that has an assessment at the end to determine if the learning outcomes have been achieved.

The workshop covers such areas as: terminology, significance and use of the standard, requirements for certificate issuers, and certificate program and certificate issuance and use. It is recommended for any corporations, organizations, government agencies, and others that are issuing certificates based on training or education courses, and stakeholders such as HR directors who are accepting individuals with certificates within their organizations.

In addition to the April 29-30 session, this course will also be held on July 8-9 and October 14-15. The sessions run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and take place at ANSI's Washington, DC headquarters.
