Acme United Names Michael Peterson Vice President of Global Marketing


FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2008--Acme United Corporation (AMEX:ACU) announced today that it has named Michael Peterson as Vice President of Global Marketing. Mr. Peterson will be responsible for all Brand Strategy, Innovation, Category Management and Customer Marketing on a global basis. He will focus on accelerating speed to market for global product launches and expanding key partnerships.

Mr. Peterson originally joined Acme United in March 2003 as Director of Marketing for Office Products, he was promoted to Senior Director of Marketing in April 2004 and to Vice President of Marketing in February 2007. Prior to Acme United, Mr. Peterson's 12 years of progressive marketing experience with leading Consumer Brands includes Unilever, Bayer and Boehringer-Ingelheim.
