Quality and service have marked Ace Paper Tube since the company was founded by Tom and Willa Cook, when in 1968 Tom Cook built a winding machine in his garage that made paper tubes.
Today Ace Paper Tube has a diversified client base. They do work for the auto industry, printing companies, steel companies, and paper companies, while also having a foot in the plastic industry and fireworks industry as well. Ace Paper Tube also makes sure its supplies are top-notch, from buying top-grade paper to put into its cores, to still doing the old-style shipping tubes that some clients still ask for.
"We have some companies that buy truckloads of tubes and cores from us, and then we have other companies that only buy 100 tubes a month," Hensley Sr. said. "We treat everybody's business the same."
Ace Paper Tube also does work for industrial companies, tubing bars of steel so they don't get scratched or nicked during shipment.
It's their commitment to service and excellence, Hensley said, that has allowed the company to break sales records every month for the past year.
"Our quality excellent, we have great lead times (5-7 days normally) and our prices are very competitive with everyone in the industry," Hensley said. "And we're always willing to work with customers on pricing; nothing's written in stone."
