AZEK® Adds Wow Factor at International Builders Show with More than a Dozen New Products
SCRANTON, Pa. -- At the International Builders Show in Orlando, FL, AZEK Building Products wowed the building industry with more than a dozen new product solutions for outdoor living and exterior improvements. AZEK had so many new products in fact, the company had to take out an entire second booth, appropriately dubbed The AZEK New Products Pavilion, which attracted show attendees, print media and TV crews.
One product responsible for most of the excitement was the AZEK In-Deck Storage Kit, a unique solution that utilizes typically unused space under the deck surface to safely store furniture cushions and covers, umbrellas or other outdoor items. Unlike typical unattractive deck storage boxes, it blends in with the surface of the deck and addresses storage concerns associated with the extended outdoor living space. Available in two hardware finishes, the easy-to-access compartment measures just over 6 ft. long, holds over 17 cu. ft of storage. All required hardware - from the brackets to the storage tub - is contained in the In-Deck Storage Kit package.
Another big hit was the AZEK Bench/Planter Box Kit, which could easily utilize left over deck boards to create a gorgeous bench flanked by planter boxes that contractors can market as a custom masterpiece to complement a deck. Freestanding, it can go on the deck or be used to separate a deck from a patio area. All of the hardware, planter box inserts and brackets are included in the kit to build this unit which can measure up to 10' 7" when fully assembled to its longest length.
Innovative additions to the AZEK® Trim product line include AZEK Finish Grade Trim, which answers the common contractor question: "how do I cover nail holes and reduce the labor required to finish or paint trim?" Well, the answer? This two-part product does it for you! Contractors can quickly nail the base plate. Then, simply fit the cover piece over the base trim and attach to the substructure using the hidden nailing flange. The final result is a smooth, fastener-free surface with no more filling, sanding or painting over nail holes required!
Other innovative AZEK Trim and AZEK Moulding solutions include:
