AVX was acknowledged at the company's ninth annual awards program where they were honored for exceeding expectations and demonstrating excellence in the areas of quality, delivery, service, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction using the Lear Supplier Rating System. This year's recipients were chosen from more than 2,400 companies that supply Lear globally.

The Lear Hall of Fame Supplier Awards began in 1998 as a way to recognize the best-in-class suppliers to Lear's North American operations. Since the program's inception, 76 awards have been presented to Lear suppliers. More than 2,400 suppliers to Lear are eligible and award-winners are selected using the Lear Supplier Rating System, which measure performance in the key areas of quality, service, technology and competitiveness.
