MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.--The Board of Directors of AVX Corporation (NYSE: AVX) recently declared a dividend of $0.04 per common share for the quarter ended March 31, 2009. This dividend will be paid to shareholders of record on June 5, 2009 and will be disbursed on June 15, 2009.
